V.O.T.E
Hi all –
It is a heated time in America.
And there’s been a lot of talk lately about how political companies should be, and what it means for a company and their employees.
But I am not here to tell you who to vote for.
Why? Because I believe in diversity of thought. It’s something we look for when hiring someone new – and I think it’s what makes Drift great. And in order for Drift to continue to be a great place to work, everyone needs to feel comfortable bringing their whole self to work.
However, I am here to tell you, if you haven’t already, to remember to vote.
As the late John Lewis said, “The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society, and we must use it.”
And if we have successfully voted during the Civil War, two World Wars, and countless other crises – we can successfully vote now.
Lastly, just about everything is different in 2020 – and the election will be no exception. There may not be a clear winner tonight. So be patient, trust the process, and create a culture of respect and trust.
