Groot is a Spotify playlist manager. It allows Slack workspace users to collaborate on Spotify music playlist within Slack. To create a playlist use the slash command /groot , Groot will then create and manage a Spotify playlist using the playlist name provided in the command. YouTube links posted in the marked Slack message threads will be synchronized with playlist on SpotifyQuick start guide:
1. Select the channel for the playlist
2. Type /groot my awesome playlist name
3. Invite work colleagues and start building your playlist by pasting YouTube links into the message thread created by Groot
4. That’s it! You can now view your playlist on Spotify!Any member of the channel may contribute to the playlist
