Use session recording to improve A/B testing
1. Create an A/B testing backlog to organize and structure your testing efforts.
List the pages that you would like to test and develop hypotheses as to how they can be improved. Design alternative versions of the pages that you would like to use in your experiments. 3. Launch and evaluate the main experiments goals like purchase conversion rate, bounce rate, and form submission rate, using the A/B testing tools.
Use the results from the A/B testing tools to determine which version of the page worked better.
4. Use the session recording to better understand the behavior of the users on the underperforming pages.
5. Document your findings based on session recording observations and develop additional hypotheses for testing.
Brainstorm the hypotheses with your team to come up with new experiment ideas. Launch new experiments based on these ideas and verify your hypotheses using session recording.
