Renewal Rate

The existing ARR or customers that we successfully renew on the renewal date as a percentage of the total up for renewal. This metric is more common to Enterprise SaaS and Small/Mid-Market SaaS companies because a large portion of the customer base is under contract, typically annual, and therefore not eligible to churn until the contract renewal date. B2C SaaS companies rely on month-to-month contracts so the Renewal and Retention Rates will be the same.
